Time flies so fast, today I am starting my 8th year in Business at Alpine Flowers & Gifts. Oct, 1, 1996 I took possesion of this empire. I gradually raised the sales by almost 50% in 7 years. Lots of hard work, devotion and good product and exclusive gift line brought me where I am today.
With this announcement, I am celebrating this event with a SNOW FALL this morning, flakes as big as my eyes falling on the grounds of Elliot lake. Calling of rain in the afternoon, and I know it would not last, but the priceless moment is telling Debbie of the snow...Oh my God, she says... A little kid seeing the snow for the first time.

PS - My sympathy to the book keepers at all the shops "celebrating" their year end today. My fingers ache along with yours.

there are those people that DO go into business for themselves, and there are THOSE PEOPLE that tell you how THEY'D do it!!
We're happy for you Luc...I can just imagine celebrating 8 years in business AND the season's first snow on the SAME day!!

Congrats Luc and the lovely Debbie......hard to visualize snow since we are running the a/c's, wearing shorts and sittin by the pool sippin a cool one. Oh, and Boss, get over yourself.....Sout-uv-da-boda is way away from you. It's here baby all the way South!!!!Sher:beer
