Does anyone know if a State Association can be a member of SAF? I have emailed them twice and asked the question but have not received an answer.
On our local television station today (and for the past few days) an ad for a market that makes "edible fruit arrangements" has aired stating "Everybody gets flowers, send a fruit arrangement this time". I have contacted SAF and put an email in to them regarding the ad, I have personally written on the facebook wall of the station and also on my personal page made reference to the negative ad.
I sent a blanket email to our Board of Directors and considering our Christmas Promotion for Maine Florists' goes live very soon, asked the President and marketing chair to visit the station in regards to the ad.
It was suggested that the association contact SAF but as we are not "members", the only contact we can do is with individual members at this point.
MFA would like to be an associated member with SAF, anyone know if this is possible??
