Yes, I have an area in my home, that my husband built for me where I fill all my orders. I have a small staff that assists me until we can find a location to open a shop.

Hi Amy,

Yes, to all your questions. You have to have the proper licenses here in Missouri. I moved my business from Indiana to Missouri and I made sure I had all proper licenses for the State and Local. I have a D&B Account, Federal Tax ID, etc. I do very well from my home and I serve a lot of the military community since I am former Active Duty Army. I retired last May 2008 and I would take leave days to do weddings and large events. Once I retired, I am now able to focus more on my creativity.

I will be opening a flower shop soon, just have to find the right location.

Thanks for asking. Feel free to order anytime. Most of my baskets I ship FedEx. Flowers if out of state I use the flowerchat directory and send orders. I gave an order to Robin at Springcity Flowers in New Berlin, Wisconsin. She does excellent work.

So what's your claim to fame?

There are folks operating without licenses if they can get away with it. It's kinda hard getting flowers wholesale without a license.
