Have I heard right? Are they closing??? We do not have them in Canada but I used to go often for my teenagers wardrobe! They will be heartbroken!

Hey Beth, I can only speak for the mens stuff, but jeans, sweats and tees were awesome! I never paid more than $7.98 for anything! And we never wore anything out, it was all really good quality.
Yes they are all closing. Can you imaging how much merchandise you have to sell when it's all under $10?
I guess I will call the none in Port Huron and find out how long they are staying for. I always thought we could support one here, they certainly operated on volume for sure.

I'm bummed that Sarah Jessica Parker's new Bitten line is biting the dust along with the closing. I hope that another store picks it up.
My kids favorite store. Bummer. Sure shot gift was a gift card to Steve n Barrys for both of them. They had some of the quirquiest t shirts.
Wow, I didn't know Steve and Barry's was such a well known place. Ours closed down about 3 years ago and it was strictly purdue university clothes and supplies. They had the best prices!
Can anyone find out if the one in Port Huron( Kimball) Michigan is still open until the new year???? Or all they all closed?

If you've wondered what will happen to the many local Steve & Barry's stores now that the company is undergoing financial restructuring following bankruptcy, we finally have some news. Most of the stores will stay open!
Of all the local stores, only Steve & Barry's at Eastland Center in Harper Woods will be closing. That store is currently having a store-closing sale, but no word on its final closing date.
The rest of the stores will remain open, including Steve & Barry's at Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn, Frenchtown Mall in Monroe, Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, Macomb Mall in Roseville, Oakland Mall in Troy, Port Huron Outlet Center in Kimball Township, Summit North in Waterford and the University of Michigan Steve & Barry's in Ann Arbor.
What this really means to local fashionistas is that Sarah Jessica Parker's cute sportswear remains available for under $10 at local Steve & Barry's stores.

shows the Vancouver, WA store as "open", but driving past it the other day, I say a huge "Going Out of Business" banner on the front of the store. So I'd say this list is not to be trusted 100%.

I think when they started to restucture the hope was to save some stores, but then the end of November I heard that it was not going to work and all the stores would close. I am just not sure when!
