I knew the title would get y'all to look...

I was going to put "I've come unglued", but you all know that already anyway.

Challenge: Affix Hollowfill to card board (aprox 12 sq ft)

Method 1, Glitter Glue.... did not work
Method 2, Foliage Sealer (formerly known as Glitter Glue)... did not work
Method 3, Tack 2000... did not work

Thought about trying small "rolls" of white duct tape...

Anyone have a better idea?

Try 3m spray adhesive...

What's hollowfill? Is it styrofoam pellets or "popcorn"?
It's the stuff that's in Down jackets, pillows, etc... looks like real snow...fluffy etc.

We built a house inside the store, working fireplace (electric) and all and I'm trying to keep the "drifts" on the eaves... I'm using both sheet and fluff...

Lori and Rhonda, thanks... I'll give that a shot... I kind of thought the 3M stuff would be just like Tack2000 but maybe not...

Super 77 will glue anything to anything.

Amy And Dave up at Aprils turned me on to Super 77 because they both had to use it in their education and industry of graphic artist and industrial artist.

Super 77 works amazing. I wont live without it. I don't even bother with tack 2000 anymore.

I'm with Lori, use the 3M spray adhesive. Spray it on both the cardboard and the "drifts" and let it sit for a minute or two, then put them together - they aren't going anywhere after that. We use it for car upholstery and headliners - awesome!

Super 77 and 3m are basically the same..You just have to remember the glue sticks to itself, so both parties must be sprayed and let sit a minute to set up..I use this to glue lemon leaves onto styro or bouquet holders...it is like a light contact cement...I find tack 2000 to work well with deliicate things and glitter glue is basically useless, it doesn't even hold glitter that well...

Ah... there could be the rub.... I'm not all that patient at times you know...

Shannon, where do you get Super 77?

Anywhere...I usually get it at walmart. When using it for fresh like galax, salal, etc spray and let it set for a minute, Mainly so the acetone can evaporate.

One of the coolest things I ever used it for was gluing moss to glass for a big wedding a while back.
It's also good for gluing pine needles to glass as well.
