I am doing some arrangements for a stock the bar party. I'm thinking about using martini vases to go along with the theme. I'll probably put sliced fruit in the vase with the arrangement on top. Anybody else have any creative ideas to go along with this theme?

Hey just have some fun in that watermelon even pop in a bendy colourful straw and it looks like a tropical cocktail.
Slice the top off a watermelon(not too big) bob in couple fatsia or any big leaf any tropical flower you like or even cluster of lowly carnation,contorted willow or anything else you fancy(that you've got too hand)melon insides is firm and oasis like,flowers last fine in it.

What we have done, is get some great crystal ice, and put in light up ice cubes, also the friut slice light up, Some of these things will make them really pop, also go and get some really cool new wine glasses that are out, they are like 36in tall to place on the ends of the bar, they are really fabu, popular in the early 80's but still a show stopper, Gosh starting to feel old lately,,,

ALso, some of the other glass manufacturers make some oversized alcoholic beverage glasses.......you could do some fantastic things with those as well.
