I have a bride that wants lavender or purple wisteria in her bouquets. I am being told I can not get it in a cut flower. Any thoughts to a sub?? Thanks.

Get her a sample of a good quality silk. Show it to her mixed in with a few of the other flowers she wants- mixed in with the real flowers, she won't be able to tell the difference. Stock or snaps would be my second choice.

How about a pieris japonica sprayed lightly with lavendar paint. It will give you the drape of wisteria.

As a matter of fact.....I have done this for parties..........Cut the flower head off snapdragons and use them inverted.....gives you a wisteria feel.
