And I thought my succulent wreaths were going to be glorious. I need to think BIGGER!

Kewl......succulents are the newest "In" plant variety. I now have 4 succulent gardens planted at the shop but they retail expensively for this small little woods town....

I have been a fan of succulents since I was little. I would walk through my elderly neighbor's garden full of them along with her roses and vegetables. Her name was Rose I miss her soo much she was such an influence on me growing up. I recall my parents helping them so many times. Everytime I see a succulent I think of Rose. She would have adored that display so much Thom....thanks.

love, love, love succulents. with an exception for my Hubbys orchid collection they are all I have at home. So easy to care for and so many unique varr.

Thom, what varr do you have in your wreaths and are they for outdoors. I've seen some outdoors wreaths with hens and chix and they didn't hold up so well after a couple years. - owner neglect perhaps?

Oh I forgot my Night Blooming Sirius (or Cereus). He is about 40+ years old. I inherited him from my Great Aunt.

Once, I had such a nice collection of succulents! A very long, hard freeze took 'em. I love, love succulents!

Thom -

How did you find that image? I searched the root site - http://artfarmla.com/ - and couldn't find it or any blog (also part of the URL string).

Was this made by a LA designer? Looks to be mounted on the building's exterior, which makes sense since succulents thrive well and year-round in our climate.

Great, do you know how many blogs I pour through in a day? I am trying to retract my steps Cathy. I do remember it was from a website of a San Francisco store. Weird plants and the such.

I will find it.

Does anyone have great advice based on past experience on how to grow succulents? So far, I've had no luck. They look easy but are deceiving. I'd appreciate any pointers.
Thanks!

I was told "If you think they need water...wait a day or two"
