As I was reading the Sunday paper I came across the FTD and Teleflora coop ads. I was happy to see that the FTD add had no mention of FTD.com and instead listed their find a florist site, www.Ftdflorists.com. I was sad to see Teleflora chose not to list there find a florist site instead listing there national site www.Teleflora.com
 
Lowering the bar...

Anyone who pays for those coop ads needs their head examined.
 
BIG problem here is

that the FTD site ONLY lists florists that have their web sites and does not list the members in the city if you do not...

Midland MI says "sorry, no results" when in fact there are two (for now) members there plus a Krogers with the logo...

Junk ads IMHO...

You don’t have to have an FTD site to be listed in the www.ftdflorists.com directory. In fact I see many sites that are Teleflora. You do have to pay to have your independent site listed.
 
It never ceases to amaze, but in Greenville County (includes 2nd largest city in state) there are 9 florists listed in the TF coupon ad. Five of them are branches of the same florist. Two of those 5 are listed under two different towns. He's also FTD, but I didn't save the florist list from the FTD coupon so I don't know how many times he advertised there (more than once).

Yea... I know...hence the problem...

And I was just trying to stir up some poo poo :) anyway!

I just checked and Smiths is listed w address ..just no phone...
 
This afternoon I did a search for Troy NY looking for a specific shop. It was listed but didn't link to website but did show the address and phone number for the specific shop. I'll have to go try my town...sheesh :)
