I appreciate the ballet - I would have been on my feet......shouting "Bravissima"

having dated a gentleman who was a classically trained dancer - briefly - I have seen the dedication to the art that it takes to reach that level.

THat is why I equate our art of floral design to that of dance.......We work with living, moving, breathing flowers, we can manipulate the stems and blooms, the dancer works with living, breathing, moving bodies, just as we can manipulate the flower, they can manipulate the body to produce something etheral, classical, extrvagant, and ultimately.....beautiful.

Thank you for posting this. It is incredible. I was a ballerina in Russia and the ballet that I saw was pure perfection and just beyond befief.
