Do you supply table reserved signs with your wedding centerpieces?

I happened to glance back at my tables this past weekend after setting up for a reception and noticed someone had placed reserved signs that were all different and....let me say kindly...looked clunky with the sleek and modern centerpieces. I was a bit disappointed, but at that point there was nothing I could do. What do you do?

Are you talking about the table #'s? Cause we are now offering them, new this year because of a wedding we did at the beginning of the season. The hall had supplied some awful oversized and stained cards that ruined the whole setting. I'm looking into different ideas and styles and also inexpensive 'cause to tell you the truth, most people don't see it the way we do, most don't even notice those details.

They did not have assigned seating. Just a few reserved tables for honored guests (family). The signs they used were of different styles, the most offensive one was the plastic one from about 30 years ago. (brown faux wood grain with white letters, and large).

A simple solution is to buy postcard stock (its already scored & divides into 4 pieces), and use your wonderful computer!!

Word has a layout for a postcard, you can oversize the print so it's readable, and print them up. Works wonders!! Simple & easy!

The postcard stock can be torn down the middle only,...or divided into 4 pieces and each piece fold into a "tent" card. Works great!

We can also order blank card stock (fancier) from out invitation company, and again run it thru the computer....doing the same as above. More costly, though.

Hope this helps!
Regards,
Cheryl

In addition to what Cheryl posted, we hated the table numbers..always old fashioned looking tall silver yucky things, so we bought picture frames in silver, gold, black, and a white with an ivory trim ..used table numbers from Carlsen craft..but you could make them yourself and we rent them out to the brides at $ 3.50 per table. Occasionally we lose one from the wait staff being careless but we bought them in lots of 100 so we just bill it to the bride as a "replacement" cost ...usually we do not do that unless they are missing in larger quantities. We buy them at Old Tyme pottery or thru one of our vendors and they cost us roughly 1-2 bucks each. The size is 5x7 and they definately add to the table. You can do the same thing with the "reserved" card.
