Tis 6am on Sinday morning....am just sitting here quietly having my coffee and realized my mind is going a zillion miles an hour --- I'm already "living" all the stuff that's going to go on over the next 4 days...PHEW!
Just wanted to wish everyone good-sales.........good-WEATHER!...and most of all a no-drama filled V-day!
Remember to breathe all !
and of course, laugh and have fun as much as possible!

My sentiments exactly. I'm also drinking my coffee while the baby takes her first a.m. nap. I'm getting ready to pay the household bills and in my mind I'm thinking of what chores need done as well as what meals I can make ahead of time so I don't have to come home and make supper. My hubby does really well with taking over, though. I'm too lazy/it's too cold to go out and get the Sunday paper, so I'll read it when he gets home from work
On Saturday I changed our sign to the "borrowed" phrase "Give flowers get kisses, give kisses get flowers", and I called the barbershop and hardware (where the guys were!) and told them I'd give them a dollar in flower credit for every guy they sent over to order early. Only got one! Frustrating, I know we're going to get them all Wednesday afternoon. Good luck...keep your sanity...and pray for good weather!

I'm also relaxing for a few mins. before I take my shower and get ready to deliver a funeral piece I took home with me last night. Then drop off the kids at the grandparents and off to work to get some last min, last min things done. lol before the big week. Also have a flower delivery today so need to process flowers.

great advice, thanks, I am happy we can get a lot done today on sunday, this is our chance to get ahead of the game! I have been very happy with the volume of orders so far, and nobody is balking on the rose prices, customers are already saying"is it too late to have vday flowers delivered?" ha ha I love it!.....I know the shiznit will still hit the fan on wed-thurs no matter how caught up we get, but I am relaxed today(I cannot believe i'm saying that , and yes I will take deep breaths and try to make it more fun this year! GL everybody! 4 more days!!! well... 5 if you count today

I too am preparing to go to the shop to get some details completed. Also we're awaiting word on our shipment of flowers which are somewhere, but not here..........

We've got 3 designers in today creating the back-up. We won't start pulling from that stuff till Wednesday. All the roses are arriving tomorrow morning and then we'll start the "where are all these flowers going to go" routine. Being in an old remodeled house the basement stays quite cold, we'll monitor the temp and utilize that area if possible.
Wrote all the e-mail campaigns and they're starting to hit. Sent out 1000 postcards that we're getting call about.
Now we just sit back and pray for the sales to roll in. Of course hoping all the way that the sales are for the items we pre-ordered, but that's always a crap shoot at best.

Hello to all, I too will go to shop today and rock & roll with some roses, stage
working and storage areas. I can't wait to see what next week my bring! I'm
ready! Bring it on, I think. But first part of today I'm taking my honey to dinner, wonderful B/B fab food, with a few other couples, looks to be fun. May be the last meal we set together at till after next week. Have a wedding on the 16th as well.(Thank you Lord) I'll try to remember to breath, laugh off what I can, and enjoy the time. First vday in my new location, keep fingers crossed for us, after 5 yrs I have a designer on vday, I'm hands on shop owner/ designer hard to turn lose and let her work on my orders.(even tho she's good)Still want to treat her as a guest in my shop, don't want to be too bossie, help!
