That puts everything into perspective. I am truly humbled.

Green Dots (Like bloomzie needs lots more :) )
In the post he made, top right hand corner in the border it shows 3 icons, the #, the medal or scale, a red "report this post". The one with the medal or sometimes it is a scale, run your mouse over it and it says "Add to Bloomz Reputation"....click on it and add your note to the good guy!!

Thanks Jon.... for this wonderful link....I did not know he had been on Oprah also.

Dr. Randy Pausch is one of our most esteemed faculty members from CMU.

He is a really cool guy who managed to merge the work of computers and art and animation and other equally cool things. (I've attended a few of his previous programs that attempted to excite high school students about cool stuff).

The day he gave the original lecture (fall, 2007), the lecture hall was filled & overflowing to capacity. An additional auditorium was packed with about 800 people. It was taped and rebroadcast on the news and local Sunday morning program that week -- in its entirety!! I applaud Oprah for having him on her show also. he is awesome!!

Dr. Pausch, as far as we know, is still alive.....still waging the war against liver cancer. Becuase of his otherwise excellent health, the process of dying has not been as swift as originally predicted to be. He is spending his final days with his wife, children and other family members.

He is my hero......................I only hope and pray that one day I will be able to act with the unselfishness and kindness that he continues to display every day.

Best Regards,
Cheryl
