LOL.... new topics are a blast huh....

Yep... 5 here too.....so far... with one on the drawing board for the future...

"Tatt's" are an addiction...kind of like Lay's chips... you can't get just one ;)

I had 3 before my last surgery. They were tiny dots to mark the spots for the incision and other things. LOL

lol Had breast reconstruction surgery so guess where my tattoo is!! lol

I've often thought of getting one ... but I'm too fickle in my taste. I know I'd like it less over time and want to change. Of course, this would lead to regret - or more tatts.

My daughter has three... the phases of the moon from hip to hip (back), an Asian symbol on her shoulder blade with our birth colours and one on her arm that I particularly like as it suits her so well... "All who wander are not lost".

Me, no. I've considered it but like Ryan my tastes are fickle and I look to the future where saggy skin is sure to come into play and erase the tatt away. ;)

Every tattoo that I have means something personal to me. ( I know thats usually the general theme of them). Ive spent soooo many hours researching designs, sketching designs and checking out tattoo parlours.

Got my first tattoo when I was 16. ( legal age is 18 in the uk ).
Also got a few piercings too.

I have one of 2 goldfish on my ankle....

I love it and would get another, but i will wait until after gastric bypass and subsequent reconstructive surgeries...

I got goldfish because I have a backyard goldfish pond...

Right now I have two. One is an angel on my thigh and the other is a tribal design in aqua blue and purple across my lower back. I want to get another, but I am having a hard time decided what and where. My husband has our two boys on his arm.

My husband and I have matching bands on our ring fingers - small enough to cover up with my 3-ring set, and his band. I would love another, but can't decide for sure, so I wait and ponder the possibilities!

My daughter has four, she is 27. She begged me to allow her to have tattoos before she turned 18, but I flat out refused. As soon as she turned 18, she immediately set off to get her first tattoo. I could hardly believe it...she was always screaming bloody murder whenever she had to have a shot! She was deathly afraid of needles! During her first experience she encountered a pastor who was having a tattoo. They struck up a conversation and before she went in to have her first tat she asked the pastor to pray for her!

OK...now I'm 52...it's a whole different world for me! Piercing my ears was about as daring as it gets! Oh...and I only have my ears pierced. My daughter has a small piercing on the side of her nose with a tiny diamond along with God knows how many other piercings in her ears. I wouldn't even dream of getting a tattoo! I'm a bit of an old fashioned gal in this department.

No Tatts here, by the time they came into vouge, I was old enough to realize that all things head south when you age and didn't want that perky tat to be peaking out down by my knee someday! LOL Piercings are another story however, 5 in each ear and a few in discreetly covered locations.:scooter:

Just 1 here, A peace sign with the red, Yellow, Green colors for world peace.

Right smack on the front ankle bone. Not on the fatty side ankle like some wimps...lol

Back in 1989 when I was way way more idealistic about many things.

I would do it again in a hearbeat and often think about getting another....

On a side note, the tattoo artist at Royal oak tattoo was named Mary Christmas.
