Sarah, Are you Ok with the flood in your town? Do you live by the river? It looks bad on TV. I always eat at the burger king that's underwater. Let us know.

We're okay!!! I just posted in main forum - wanted everyone to know we're alright!! THANK YOU so much for your thoughts and prayers!!
So much devastation - it's unreal. Lake Delhi, which is about 6 miles from us took a very bad hit. It's a recreational area but there are several year round homes for people. The dam there that gave way is privately owned and operated, not by the state. So I have no idea how they are going to ever rebuild because it all has to come out of Association dues.
The governor was here yesterday and there have been several other politicians bringing in support so I think that's helping boost moral a little.
The water has receeded and it's disgusting downtown
If any of you have ever been around flood water, you know it's not exactly crystal clear. There's a plethera of "stuff" in it and it doesn't smell very pleasant.
Anyway - we are all safe and fine! Our Catholic school took on water, but they got it out. And several colleagues lost huge portions of the business. But luckily my home and business and my families homes are all safe!
This is a good time to return thanks to God for keeping us all safe!
