In today's politically correct world they should have seen this coming....I think it was done with all good intentions, because they are a special group. I do agree that they wording could upset many because by the very nature of that catagory, very many of the Mom's, I am sure had trouble becoming biological parents and it is already a sensitive area for them.

I thought that the catagory referred to people like me that have no children but am Mother to many neices, nephews, friends, animals...anyone that needs a Mom, I'll step right in and nurture...

As one should be, sorry when I got some calls about this, it kinda hurt, I was a found child, and It just is so sad that someone , would act this way, I know maybe they didn't relize that, but, as one who has taken in many children over the years, as one stated best" What do you expect it is a wire service ! " What would they know about MD" other than those strange orders...Hugs to all found children and Mothers who cared enough to find them>>

Maybe it's just me but aren't moms of adoptive kids "moms", not adoptive moms, non-moms or anything else? I too thought the non-mom catagory was for someone like me, no kids but a devoted aunt to six nieces and one nephew.

What a boo-boo.

What a moronic, short sighted view of the world. Dam n.

I think that it brings nothing but nonsense to what they were trying to do, but as of today, we have embrassed to own it, SO a question how did that arrangment sell for most of you??

Teleflora is entering into a new world. Treading water and reaching out, without the flair that was created many years ago.
Their business plan has changed, though many do not see this coming !

Jack......................?

Fasten your seat belts !

Two of my children are adopted and I gave birth to one of them.....but, I can't remember which ones are adopted.

Carol Bice

Carol, you made my day...NO, my year!!:eek:oooops: or not, Mom IS MOM!!

I heard about this through one of my long time staff members who participates in Adoptive Parents boards. Who can blame adoptive parents for being outraged? Geez...Teleflora's blunder of the century for the 100th Mother's Day Celebration! Way to screw up an otherwise unique campaign!

On a happier note...Robyn, my long time employee, received a call today that she would finally become a Mom...a little boy from Korea who was born in December! We are so happy for our new Mom! I am posting another link to one of the sites that gave TF a well earned spanking! Even more amazing...Marie Osmond is an adoptive mother!

Non Mom!?! Who on Earth or elsewhere would even answer to such a title? How sad! Tsk, tsk, Telefora.

Carol Bice, you've long been one of my heros, now more than ever.
