Teleflora has YouTube Commercial on all TF websites

the dealy-oh is that the commercial does NOT link to tf.com at all. It's on my site right now, and that is the only reason I left it there after getting the broadcast message last week.

I'm undecided as to whether to leave it there or not.

I don't think a consumer will leave my site to go search out tf.con after viewing.

thoughts?

They may if they have seen the TF offerings at $29.99 and your stuff costs more....

We opted out of it especially since we think it is a demeaning way to try to sell product, gets my goat that they throw that up without asking first, grrr.

Yeah it's annoying that they do that.....one of the reasons I got rid of TF site, was because of all the new items and changes they make to your site without your approval...it became a job in itself trying to keep up with their add-ons and TF promo stuff that only helps them, not YOU :dunno:
 
Asked them to remove it and it was gone very shortly. Wouldn't have been so bad if the words that they put at the end thanked them for using me a "local florist" and didn't scream teleflora

that was proactive and doesn't sound that tough at all.

they count on nobody paying attention - and they have plenty of those

Thats why the WS are so successful, because they rely on FWOAC never checking anything, including their website prices,items, & statements!!!:hammer:

If nothing else it makes the customer think there are other options out there. I sent an email asking that it be removed and it was in about 15 mins. The commercial would be great if they wouldn't have a Teleflora driver and van but instead let us tag the commercial. I personally have never seen a Teleflora van or driver :)

Your website is not supposed to be an advertising platform for another company unless they pay you and you agree to it. If TF isn't paying anything for the site owner, I think this is illegal. It's no different from my landlord putting his ad banner on my windows without my consent.

If I was running a TF website, I would be talking to a lawyer.
