teleflora headquarters orders???

I have always wanted to figure out how to tell if an order that came from headquarters originated from teleflora or was forwarded to them (most likely by an OG that we don't accept from) and sent to me, but was never able to figure it out.

I think I may of... I THINK it was starring me in the face all this time. On the dove order there is a spot were it says
Auto-Forward: then there will either be a Z or a Y

I THINK the Z is when the order is sent to you from the original sender. and the Y is when the order has be forwarded.

If I am right, that would mean that headquarters orders with the Y did NOT start with teleflora!!

Does this make any sense? Does anyone know if I'm right or not??
 
The letter code Y stands for yes, autoforward. Z means do not autoforward, the order will be rejected if the designated florist's dove is off.

The sending florist, real or order gatherer, determines if a Y or a Z is in that field.

If I send you an order and I put a Y in that field it means if your machine is off that it goes on to the next florist. If I put a Z in that field and your machine is off the order it comes back to me.

Wouldn't you think they would do one thing continually?? Then again, this is teleflora we are speaking of....:wallhead:

Carrieann, do you have one of their storefront sites on findaflorist.com? That might be it, or it could be that when the order was placed they specifically asked it come to your shop.

Teleflora may not want something autoforwarded if it was for a codified product.
