At least they announced "stay away from direct shippers, Mom works hard all year, don't make her arrange her own flowers". I had a call yesterday from a non customer who wanted to know the price of doz mixed colored roses for Mother's Day delivered to the neighboring town. I told her a variety of quality long stemmed roses arranged in a vase and delivered would be $62.99 plus our state tax. She immediately said "they sure are cheaper online, guess I'll send them from there instead". I informed her that they would come in a box with a vase enclosed in the box, left on the door step if Mom wasn't home, and of unknown quality. She said "I've done it before so I guess I'll do it again" and promptly hung up. Oh well, can't educate the cheap...
