Is anyone else receiving orders from Hdq, that have on the special instructions part: order total includes $7.00 for delivery....

My delivery is $10-$14 so what the heck ... Are they telling me I can only deduct $7 to cover my delivery? I don't think so...

Yes, TFHQ tries this all the time. If you look at your recipe book from TF each design has (supposedly) $7.00 set aside for delivery. If you want to go to the trouble of calling them they will admit this.

It is easier to refuse the order until they give you the money you need.

I sent a REF with this type of msg - So sorry need $59.90 Full price of TF item plus $10.00 my delivery fee.

They almost always send the $$.

Don't let them strong arm you or they will take further advantage.

Hope this helps

Thanks Deedee... I always send an ask to that effect and they always say to cancel. We have lots of low end flower shops in the area that will take anything and fill it anyway they want.

I think it's pretty rude of them to now post on the order that they are only giving $7 for delivery. I remember back in the day when you deducted the delivery from the order total and were only charged the percent on the floral portion of the order...

Guess they figure with the economy the way it is we'll all bend over and take what we can from them.... hehe

I understand that you pay approximately 1/3 of every dollar to FTD so they are paying you $4.67 for delivery when it says $7.00? So $10.00 delivery is= to $6.67 to your acct. Your loyal customers pay $10.00-$14.00 that's more then double.

You're absolutely correct.... It isn't fair to are 100% customers.

so why are you a member of teleflora???? I guess you get so much work that you can just sit there and reject orders huh??? why not take the additional monies from the order itself?

I make sure I do get the money, have played this game for years. I just object to them now posting on the order something that we already all knew... guess I'll just have to remove one more flower from the arrangement... ha ha

remove a flower or work on getting more orders so you can buy more flowers in bulk, for less money, and spend more time working on your business, instead of calling teleflora every minute ...just trying to help:blowkiss:

My you are a snarky one (but then you do like the yankees...GO MARLINS, RED SOX, or anyone that playes the yankees)... We are a large well established shop that gets incredible prices on flowers... that being said, Teleflora is not on speed dial by any means, I just refuse the orders if they aren't to value or of a standard I would send from our shop.

Like you we are fortunate to live an an afluent area, which does require a certain amount of "catering to".

Always enjoy reading your posts...
