We have probably all experienced a situation wherein an out of town florist sends us an order that is discounted off the TFTD800 coded price. When we call to complain, they explain that they are having a "sale!"
"OK," we reply. "YOU are having a sale. What makes you think that WE should fill this already-discounted order at an additional discount?"
Well, it looks like TF is doing just that. I looked on their site this morning to double check some prices and learned that EVERYTHING on their website is discounted by $10 until after XMAS.
I tried a test order. Sure-enough, the order page shows the "regular price", a $10 discount and the "usual" $14.95 "handling/delivery" charge.
So... when a TFHQ order is sent to us REAL florists, is it sent at the coded "regular" price (with the $10 coming out of the handling charge) or are they "allowing/expecting" us to participate in THEIR sale?
Haven't seen a TFHQ order since way before Thanksgiving, so dunno what is actually happening.
