Just got postcard in mail today, it says...

get 100%

I actually thought it meant they were giving tf florists 100% of orders they gather from tf.com site which would be a nice thing for them to do for their members( keep dreaming right?)........and then I read the fine print which says,

100% of our tf.com orders go to member florists.Unlike our competitors we dont drop ship flowers, thats not the way we do business at teleflora...we were founded over 70 years ago to help local florists suceed. and we never forget it.

So they give tf members the order, big deal, they should also mention that they are also taking 27% + of that order! They should also mention that the find local florist link on the findaflorist site is frigin tiny and hard to find! How is that helping the local florists???

I know they are better than ftd and 1-800 but cmon, this postcard is a joke!
 
Back when I had a TF web site my thinking was - I have my own site and don't need theirs, but just for those people that I could catch from the Findaflorist link.

According to the stats - I got 14 count them 14 referrals from there in one year and I bet half of those were me testing it. Those weren't necessarily orders either.

What's the saying? As useful as Tits on a Boar?
 
EVERY FREAKING WIRE SERVICE ALWAYS MAKES IT TOOK ROSY!!!!!!!!!!
Many florist will not read the fine print.
Many florist will not ask questions on those offers they call you about.
At that is what they are counting on!!!!!!!!!!
