If you have email through Teleflora, you may want to check it out! I've been doing email updates for our membership and a great many bounced after being confirmed in the past 3 weeks. Of the bouncing emails are quite a few that go through Teleflora. Following the paths of the emails, they list "teleflorist" on the path. I've called 3 members whose return paths have shown this and they don't know why they're not receiving the emails.

Rhonda - TF mail has a size limit of 5KB I think. If they don't delete sent/rec'd emails on a regular basis, the box gets filled up pretty quickly, causing the bounce.

We stopped using it when any attachment I sent or received (mostly pics for updating our TF site [[ironic, huh?]], or pics to brides) that was anywhere near the limit caused me to have a full mailbox. Now it forwards to our Gmail account, much bigger box so I don't have that problem anymore.

Tracy, can I set my TF email to automatically forward to my gmail account, 'cause that would be great! I have a wholesaler who inserts a huge logo file in every price list email she sends and I am constantly over my mailbox limit. Can you advise me? Thanks.

Sorry to say I don't know for sure, but hopefully someone else will chime in. I believe you have to log into your tf mail account, and go to settings or account info to set it to forward to a new gmail account. There was a detailed how-to on here, but the poster was banned a while ago, so his posts are gone (12bucks) ..... I'd bet if you go to gmail help you can get some help. And call TF web services for the other stuff - they'll help.

For gmail, you go to account settings, then the Account/Import tab & fill in how you want your email to show up. Mine shows as [email protected] on behalf of [email protected] on outgoing emails. Not perfect, but way better than constantly getting the bouncey stuff from the small box with tf.

So a nice guy who's familiar with the Mailsite program gave me these instructions on setting up e-mail forwarding. Please be sure to use the "Don't deliver to this mailbox" thing he lists at the end or you'll keep experiencing the full mailbox problems, because then it would just forward and not delete stuff to keep your mailbox under the limit. :)

Once they are logged in, they just need to click “Options” on the left nav.
Then click on the “General” link on the options page. Then enter an email address in “Forward all mail to the following address:”

We've noticed the incredibly high bounce rate with TF hosted email as well, though not because of capacity ... no, the emails bounce because the server is "too busy" to deliver the email.

We have 1000's of TF hosted email addresses, recent and active, but if we send out a newsletter a significant number of those messages will bounce.

On tinfoil hat days, I wonder if they're blocking our domain. Other days, I just wonder if it's a one-gerbil server :)
