We are adding casket covers to our web site and are wondering how far off SRP is...example TF194-1 is $201.95. In our market it would start at $250. Are we that far off SRP or just in an expensive market?

Also, SRP is for a one-sided arrangement, we've always done them all around. Does anyone one side or three quarter them?

Renee, those SRPs are 5 years old now, and even at that time our actual prices were higher than that. We priced the entire book out.

I realize that they are old, but the price I quoted is on .com today (and on all TF sites including caskets, unless shops adjust pricing, which few do.)

What is the recipe for this piece?

Don't know. Can't find our workbook and no one at TF can seem to get them for me. They keep telling me they are on my Eagle, but they are not. Hopefully, when we upgrade they wll be. For now I am trying to count and guess using the photos.

Oh, didn't see that in the original post, sorry for the confusion.

Renee, prices are so off now, since the book is old. Price according to your market. Houston prices will always be a little more than some areas. How was Texas State? I was at TF taking Hitomi's class. It was awesome. Hope all is well in Houston. What is the latest on LaVon and all the others who are close to my heart. Norman in Temple

TSFA convention was good. LaVon was there. Also, Lynn Lary McLean & Frankie Shelton who don't come as often as we would like. I've got 350+ photos I'm trying to edit. Congrats on Hitomi's class. I'm going to Els' TF class next week. OKC here I come!

If I remember right, the Teleflora workbook came with a pretty decent pricing CD (one that you could change the price of flowers and labor)....I remember that only because I sent an email to one of the guys on the CD project, asking if they could fix the next version where I could add designs to the CD program.

they're lying. I just got my marketing rep to send me a new workbook b/c the old one got trashed due to water (duh!) so call your rep andDEMAND a new one...they should've laminated the @@@@ thing in the first place....

Most of the time we do 3 sided even if the description says one sided, if it is going to the funeral home. If it is a church service, we do all around.

Do some subs if you feel it is underpriced, like maybe use cushions instead of lisianthus, otherwise price your casket spray according to the cost of flowers and materials.

I would price it at $125.00 all around, thats for my area. We do a lot of sprays in that price range.

But I love to get the $300.00 to $450.00 ones, but they are few and far between. In our area between $125.00 and $250.00 is what sells the best.

if you go to teleflora.com and look arround you will find that they have increased prices there and they are more accurate. the suggested pricing that came with the book is dated
