I see that the Resnick's recently purchase a winery in CA, Justine Wine.

TF have started to offer their customers a % saving on an initial purchase from Justine Wine.

Speculating now: I wonder how long it will be before TF add to their website the opportunity to purchase Justine Wine? If they do that, will they then migrate to other products, inc. flora being offered up as drop-ship.

Definitely agree on the potential problems with selling wine across state lines. However, if there is a fall-off in TF membership and just if the ideas from Vegas in August gather momentum and TF, for example, adjusts their fees/splits downwards, they are going to have to look for new revenue from somewhere. I would think that their days of no drop-ship are numbered.

Not to burst anyone's bubble... but TF already drop ships... not under their own name, but via other avenues like GiftTree (if I remember right)...

I absolutlely hate this company.... they skim orders. The price is one thing on their site and they always send $2 to 3 dollars less, plus charge their customers a fee.

Another reason to be done with wire service.

We recently had a request for an order from Gift tree, "Would we deliver a $10 balloon bouquet?" I looked online and the price on their website said $29.95, we declined. Can anyone verify if Gif tree really is owned by TF?

Can anyone verify if Gif tree really is owned by TF?

I didn't say it was owned by TF... and GiftTree may be the wrong entity as I said... but they do have affiliations with fullfillers that can handle drop ship...

I believe GiftTree is an affiliate site, meaning they are affiliates for many different companies. It would make sense for any of the wire services to have them as affiliates including TF.

Gift Tree is an affiate as they send to us all the freaking time.......under the guise of a TF incoming order. And hold on to your hats.......In San Antonio, there is an 800 flower store......but 800/Bloomnet does not call their own store, instead we get the call for orders.......sent under the TELEFLORA umbrella, so Bloomnet is a member of TF now. Most times, when Bloomnet calls, I tell them to call their branch store in town.
