Confirmed by Teleflora yesterday, thay have purchased this company.

No word as to why or what the plan is, but one has to wonder, what this means for their current platforms, and the direction they plan to take regarding floral technology.

I wonder if this could be the death knell for the windows platform they've been struggling with for so long. I also wonder if this could spark a consolidation effort - one platform, scaled to meet different sized shops, instead of 47 different programs bought from different vendors.

Hmmm.... what a novel idea! Next, someone will say TF has been trying miserably to perfect an ASP platform. Ooopppsss.... they tried that, too.

Or, if you're rich and proud, you can buy a horse that someone else trained to swim. Of course, that's after someone else comes up with the idea of a swimming horse, and does the development & training, and all the creative stuff. And, after you try paying your own stablemen to train the old nags in your stable ...

But like with other horses you might end up with one that only likes to jump off a high dive into a little pool of water, but still can't swim. Looks good on paper, but often...you don;t get what you pay for, and have to correct others mistakes, developement and training issues...
