There was a shop called Salisbury Flower Market here in Minneapolis that went out of business last year. Yet TF still has a website on Find a florist.com for them. Does anybody know if this is just the way TF operates? The phone number is of course disconnected and has been for some time. I'm wondering if TF does this to appear to have more members than they actually do. Here is the link to the store that has been gone for a year, but according to TF, it is still able to fill orders.

They are probably gathering orders from that site, and sends them to you after to fill.

I just shopped it, and it appears that you can complete a purchase...

One oddity tho... the first delivery date available is June 10th...Hmmmmm

Just in time for Father's Day orders!
So they are keeping the site going!!!!

What's really weird is this florist is listed in the current Teleflora directory.

I am totally not familiar with your TF requirements but do you not have to have an actual shop front and get inspected (real inspections by a human rep) to be a member????
Sounds like someone (probably a TF shop) bought the shop name and website when the original shop went out of business and has kept the virtual shop running and kept paying the TF charges? just a guess.

To be a filling florist their are requirements and we do get inspected. Since they are listed in the directory there should be an actual shop. What throws me off is their phone number is disconnected. Perhaps the shop is in hiatus and will reopen on June 10th?
