I think I'm going to need to commission a plugin for FlowerChat that plays "I'm Every Woman" whenever "CHR" appears on the page.

Not only is Cathy a successful business owner, blogger, webmaster, wife, mother, FlowerChat Admin and tireless crusader for her industry (oh, and rumour has it she can design a bit, too :)), she keeps a fabulous home and is a fantastic host and cook. [I think there was talk of her sowing a blouse at 5 yrs old? Is there nothing she can't do?]

Thank you so much, Cathy, for a wonderful evening with your family and our FlowerChat friends. Jim & I had such a great time and we both remarked that it was a well-need break from the seriousness of our training course. We're well refreshed for the last two days.

We had Frank & John from Golden Rose, Ted & Dennis from Visser's, Eric & Lihn from Everyday Flowers (and their gorgeous kids, whose names I didn't catch), along with {queue Hallelujah Chorus} Mr Phil Rulloda & Rosey (who is awesome).

It was a great time, and I hope to see all of you again the next time we're in LA.

PS - Cathy has pictures to post ... but I believe all incriminating video has been destroyed.
 
I am sure we would get the same tretment at any flower chat members if we visit. It is nice to receive a welcome like you did Ryan.
Now if I can get to LA to experience it also.....

Yes its was a great night. I didn't have a chance to tell ryan but I know of his twin. You are exactly how I imagine and it was truly an honor to meet you in person. You have so much knowledge and I see why you are so successfull. We should all feel very lucky to have this board that has brought so many of us together.

I still feel like the baby florist trying to stand on my two feet being in the company of all of you last night. There was so much knowledge and experience in the room last night that it was truly an honor to be there.

We all have many of of the same concerns about our business and we all work very hard to try and figure out what the answers are.

By the way its Brandon and Olivia Ryan.
 
Lucky ducks! Cathy...can I book a week at your home this summer? I bet you guys had a blast...a great group of people sharing their love of the industry! Nothing could be finer...I'm soooooo jealous!

Ok your pissed I missed you last week. Come back I will Smoke a Prime Rib on the grill for You,Phil,Ellen and I my daughter can swim with yours and we can enjoy 89... Oh yea lots of Michael Pozzan Cabernet...
 
Well, I've started this reply three times today and the darn customers kept interrupting me. ;)

Thanks soooooo much for all the kind words, guys. I had a great time but it went by too fast.

Was super to meet Stryder's Jim and to hear about a bit of the fun he and Ryan have had in their travels to NYC and here. I'm jealous!

We also got an update on the progress of the Florist 2.0 Websites. (I hope everyone here takes a good look at the quality and flexibility this top-notch product.)

Got to see Dennis' wedding ring (cool and contemporary) plus Eric's darling kids. (Rosie earned a big 'high 5' for her babysitting duties but Brandon and Olivia Ryan made her 'job' easy.)

As we all agreed last night, we're indebted to Ryan for all he does to keep this place growing and glowing. :bow_flowe

Despite my best efforts, the photos from dinner were really poor. (Guess the Sony's been dropped one too many times.) Unfortunately, Eric and Lynh (hands on the left) were cut out but you can see (L to R) Jim, Ryan, Frank, John & Ted.

Dianne - Anytime you want to get away, we've got space! :)

Hal - You still owe me a beer! :beer But, I'll cook for you the next time you're in town anyway. :>
