Connie, with your help I was able to make this design in Honor of a couple that was killed on their bike in NC.This was the 3rd death in this church in 12 hours. I was I need of orange flowers. I called every wholesale in our area,no one had any I could use in such a large design. Not even gerbs in orange(strong orange color,Clemson orange) I still sprayed these deep orange.
So much was rideing on the color,. This order come in after 4 on a Friday, and I had a festival to start running at 5.There wasn't time on my side.Made this design at 1am to ensure the paint smell would be gone for the church. Also painted the urn silver. I needed white, orange, silver and a black bow.The white roses were from MARC, thank heavens for my florist friends!Trinity 002.jpg

Thank you Ellen! You know that anytime you need anything, you can surely call on me.

I remember vividly and with heartfelt thanks the year that you came, after hours, and helped us finish prom orders. And I am thankful that you will meet me at 5:00 a.m. so that I (we) can get a front row seat at whatever design show you've agreed to attend with me.

The arrangement is beautiful, BTW. You are incredible in the amount of work you can get accomplished in a given time. Talk about having many irons in the fire, you do, and you manage each one well.

I've been thinking of asking you if you want to ride with me to Charlotte Sunday. Southern Retail is going on, but I'm just going up for an Executive Board meeting. I have to hurry back to Spartanburg for a wedding shower for my daughter, so I'll only be in Charlotte for an hour or two.

Connie by hanging on your coat tail is help me do what I do!
As far as being a team in travel, just tell me when and I'll have the motor running and gassed up.haha Even if I have to be at your door at 5am.haha
You have introduced me to people and design teachers I would not have known other wise. When walking into Phil's hands on,I thought I was in over my head, in walked Connie and I knew I was going to ok.We worked at the same table, thank heavens.
Have fun at that shower!
I'll even do your hair for the wedding if you like( Texas do,haha)
Thank you Ricky, but I need to regroup this weekend, nows time to work on BOO-in the park. I'm just one on a team of 6 women and we have to plan actives for over 3 thousand children( came last year)
Hubby would like me to spend some time with him, isn't that sweet, after 35 years he still needs us time.Me too!:kuddle:

Rick, the Exe. Board meeting will take place in Bud and Clyde's room at the Embassy Suites. It's scheduled for 9 a.m., and I'm hoping to be at there no later than 8:30...another irk of mine....can't stand being late, so I'm usually the first to arrive!

I'm supposed to also pick up a package from one of the vendors, so I'm hoping that I can run in and right back out of the trade show without their charging me an entrance fee.

The shower/dinner for my daughter starts at 12:30, so you can see that time in Charlotte will be very tight. This shower is the big family shower.

Connie this timing sounds tight. Remember it takes time to drive it, to and from. Be safe! Better to be a little late isn't it?

The family will go ahead and eat without me. I'll grab a bite and eat when I get there. I'm hoping to be there for the opening of the gifts. The SCFA president, Melanie, moved the Charlotte meeting up to 9:00 for me because I could not figure out how to be in 2 places at the same time. Both meetings are sort mandatory, you know what I mean?

Connie - Knowing Melanie.......That She would bend over backwards, reschedule, just to help you........is no surprise. That is just one of many, many, many reasons I love that girl.

I hope Melanie knows that if she needs anything.......all she has to do is ask and if there is a way, I'll do that for her.......there are people who would get a no answer, but she is not one of them.
