Ok, so did anyone else receive this piece of crap from Teleflora yet?
Looks cheap, doesn't even look like glass. It is painted with some sort of spray painter. When you sit it down and look and it from afar, you can actually see drip marks!!! Put a call in to Teleflora immediately after opening them, hours ago, was told someone would call back. I am still waiting. I swear, I will not purchase another thing from this company!!

Got them in, but didn't check them out. Had ordered 48 of them, sent 12 back that were broken. If they are as bad as you say, I will send them all back. We are charging WAY more than TEL's SRP by the way...will not accept anything less.

as far as what to charge for them, that is another issue. On the Teleflora website, they are charging $52.95, I received a credit card statement yesterday with an ad saying $59.95. To me, I do not see how anyone would be willing to shell out that much for this vase. We will be charging more than these above prices as well and will also be making different arrangements in them to try to move them out of here.

We didn't order any, I gave up on ordering that codified s&!* at Christmas, when almost every kincade we received had the star broken off and three of them wouldn't light (even with fresh batteries). I completely understand your frustration. I hope when they call u back you ream'em! That mess is overpriced to begin with and as said before if you don't do your own arrangements in them at your price points, you never will make your money back. GET'EM.... I hope you get'em good, sending you that junk!

Yo Herb....see if the paint "scratches off" when they are slid across the design table ;) , then slid them thru packaging, and then into the van...I've seen it happen before with "painted" vases...

We're calling it the "hot pink nail polish" vase...that's exactly what it reminds me of! I will look at it afar tomorrow to see if if the "nail polish" is dripping. I'd be thrilled to have a legitimate reason to return them. Let's not even get into the pricing of this bouquet again! That really gave me a headache!!!

Getting "Unembraced"

Knew we should have saved the boxes...I too will look at them tomorrow. Shop girl unpacked them today before I checked them out.

One question...if codified (I was crazy then), but won't sell them at SRP, how do you handle wire orders?? do you reject, ask for more $$ to suit you?? "below my codified minimums" or what?

Further...thanks to y'all, I haven't accepted one OG wire order since finding FC and have really watched outgoings over incomings.

Cheers!

Victoriamary, (Beautiful name, girl!)

Since I am fortunate to have only ordered 12 "bottles of hot pink nail polish" I will sell them to the first twelve nail polish freaks who actually want them-wire in or local-I will be happy to get rid of them ASAP! We priced the item on our website at $60.00, although when I priced it out using the SRP it should have sold for $90.00. This is a loser, and I will chalk it up to a bad buying experience. In the future, I will be looking at TF's suggested pricing a whole lot closer before purchasing. The reason why I listed it at $60.00 is because TF is listing the item on their website at $59.95. If my customers went to their site and saw their pricing and I listed it for $90.00, what would my customers think of my shop? They'd think we were ripping them off! This was an excellent lesson on purchasing TF containers and not making a profit! Let the buyer beware!

teleflora.com vs your TF website

Right along with their improper SRP pricing, have you noticed that the prices on teleflora.com consistently run higher then the default prices your own TF website ? (I was crazy then too, and am now looking at independent options). Their explanation was that they set the prices according after considerable research and planning (???!!!????) based on the coasts and these prices might not hold up in the midwest or other parts of the country..and we can change our own prices...yada yada yada
BTW, I'm "the first person that's asked about it"...lol

So many tasks...so little time!

Cheers!

I have learned NO TO BUY ANY VALENTINE, EASTER and SECRETARIES ARR.
First the COST of these vase and containers are way out there. Second the quantities for a little shop are impossible for us to sell and third the SRP.
SO instead of being upset over something, I just don't buy.
Use the KISS method. Keep it simple Stupid and you will live longer.
THere is so many colored vases out there at a cheaper price that you can do something at a reasonable price.
Even for Mothers Day collection. I will be using this method. Look at the size, look at the price and look at the quantties they ask. For us canadian it is getting out of reach.

The price on TF.com includes $5 for delivery by a local florist. Most florist websites break out the delivery charge as a separate line item. National sites do not - which is why most consumers think the 'service charge' pays for delivery.
