I wanted to share this video with you because there are numerous gems of wisdom here that touch in my view how we should view our craft and our product. It makes me think that we have come through a long long period of cheap, and waste, and throw away, and should be thinking of creating heirlooms, perfection, things that mass marketers are not doing. I have been pondering pondering pondering how I want to take my product line, giftware and the such, and there are so many craftsmen here in the states that do such amazing work. When I was in Paris last week it was evident that gift shops carried quality, much of which was made in Europe. I didn't see an overabundance and hardly any Chinese products, different. Anyways, i just wanted to share this and see if anyone had any thoughts.
