Could it be possible , that the Red Sox have finally exorcised the curse of Babe Ruth by coming back from a 3-0 deficit to knock the Yankees out in New York. Posted same last year when it looked like the Sox and the Cubbies would meet in the Series , only to have the Yankees and Marlins win. Had to eat crow last night , last week half way through the first game I predicted that the Sox wouldn't win a game , happy to eat it ,not too bad if washed down with a Canadian.

Hats off to Boston and their fans. Probably the best fans in the world. They love their Red Sox. They've suffered long enough. I hope they win the Word Series.
Possibly the only team I dislike more than the Yanks is Boston. ARGH!!! How could they let this happen??? Steinbrenner is going to fire EVERYBODY 
BTW, I dislike Clemmons as well, so I'm pulling for the Cards all the way. I've liked the Cards ever since LaRussa moved there.

I no longer have a team to root for my Expos are no more , so i root cheer for any looooooons suffering team like the Red Sox , White Sox , Cubbies,actually pretty much any team but the Yankees or Braves , hate them both so sick of seeing them , oh yeah hate the Dodgers , Rangers , and Phillies .

A great day in Boston after a long and stressful week of watching the Sox’s. I was at Fenway Sunday and Monday. Monday was the best baseball game I ever saw. The team doesn’t quit. Lots of different players contribute to make it a winning team. Hopefully the Sox will win a long overdue World Series.

At the start of the series I thought the Yankees would lose in 5 (no pitching). After they won the first 3, I thought they'd win for sure. After game 5, I knew Boston would win.
My wife is devastated by their loss. She wouldn't even watch the news this morning.
My father was a Red Sox fan and idolized Ted Williams. I'm definetly pulling for the Red Sox in the World Series.
If I know Steinbrenner next year the Yankees will probably have the best pitching staff in the American League.

As a life-long Red Sox fan, having had my heart ripped out repeatedly by my beloved team then coming back for more year after year... and listening to the fans of the Evil Empire taunt about choking...I thought the Sox could never win 4 in a row in that series, but they did it. And who could ever dream that ANY team could win 21 games in a row over two seasons, but the PATS did it!!! So why can't the Red Sox win a world series this year? There is magic in New England this year. The Red Sox have a chemistry among the team stronger than any other line up. Manny Ramirez said during an interview in spring training that he strongly believed "this is THE year." I hope he is right!!!!!!!!

George might get his wish 17 of the Sox are free agents , with the 2nd or 3rd largest payroll in the majors , can't see how the Sox can pay much more out.
