Not much more to say than I was blown away by the amazing craftsmanship of the work in this article. Imagine creating the art shown below from a just a single piece of paper.

Wow! These are fabulous! And to think how pleased I have been with the few shapes I can fold. I wouldn't be surprised if Phil has these figured out very soon.

When I taught middle school art, we always had a few lessons in origami. It was a great way to teach the students to listen and follow directions.
 
It's a shame this extreme exercise in patience can't be utilised as a peace making activity. Amazing...
 
That is soooo amazing! I have done some simple origami with my daughter, but the more complex models turned into an exercise in frustration for both of us. Our "crane" ended up as a crumpled ball with which we had an impromptu game of paddle ball.
