I am a very strong believer that this will be a fantastic holiday selling season and a greater opportunity to gain ground on the order gatherers that are attempting to lure local people from our "Local Markets" and suck them into the national game of over promoted under valued "Containered Holiday Offerings".

Those "Containered Offerings" don't make your business unique, they only MAGNIFY the fact that your work looks like everyone else.

This is the first of many new products we designed for this years selections that we will promote in our delivery area.

We believe the products should be attractive by its design and compelling through it's price offering.

The Partridge In A Pear Tree will retail for $29.99 and featured as a special in a mid month email marketing promotion at an even greater value.

Staying ahead of your competition is today's name of the game, keeping them out of your market might just require you to lock them out through pricing.

I'm not suggesting you price everything low, just give your customers some options, let them know what you're doing, show them you want their business!

Stand out, get your shop noticed!

It's the only way you'll be REMEMBERED!

BOSS's Quote of the day!

Right on Rob.... but you left out:

Not only will you look like them, but you're helping to promote THEIR brand and not your OWN...

"Containerized Offerings".... love the new term ;)

Love the idea!
Although there is no way I can offer that particular arrangement at the price you suggest, I really love the idea and the thinking behind it. Very creative, and out of the box!
I hope you don't mind if I re-work it a bit to accomodate my client base.
Thankyou for sharing another great idea , Rob.
I really appreciate your contributions here.
More than that, I appreciate the fact that, although you are geared to sell to the masses, and do that very well, you are still willing to share your ideas with us.
Thank you.

OK, you've inspired me. I'm putting together my first marketing email. I have every customer's email address but I've never done anything with them all. I will come up with a few Christmas specials this weekend and send them out. You guys make me want to be better.

P1010001-1.JPG What a great idea! I had done something similar. This container I have comes in three sizes and I think after seeing yours I might try one with a tree with pears and bird inside the cage as another option.I'm not sure how it will photograph though. I originally did this one with Green Fashion roses and it wasn't bright enough but I love the Partridge in a Pear Tree idea.

Thanks for sharing Rob and Diane.. Love both the pictures. I think you are right in that we do have to capture as much as the local market.

Thanks!

I think the most important thing is to remain as unique as possible! You don't need a single wire service container to have a great holiday.

You just need to dream up what someone may want to buy!

That is what the flower business is all about - IMAGINATION.
