I may have missed something somewhere, somehow, but has anyone heard of Floral Express from Woodstock.Their rep just sent me a free sample box, and we are looking at changing suppliers..any comments out there on The Floral Express. thanks , as always kathaloonie @ Browns
 
We have floral express from Woodstock Canada deliver to us in Michigan.

We find their quality good and pricing fair. [ Especially when we compair canada product thru the local vendors and direct from them.]

I do split quantities with another florist as to get the best pricing as the more you order the better the price.

We usually order: lilies, gerbs, snaps, asters, mini calla, and assorted odds and ends. Also steph.

if I'm not mistaken, Floral Express gets almost all their product in from Schodowski's company, Transflora, and distributes, the containers loads as a wholesale company.
I've explored sharing product, and am pretty sure that we could do well by it, but, shipping/pickup in Woodstock costs, do NOT make up for the price differentials we already get from FB, and the Pacific Circle area around the Ontario Flower Growers location in Mississauga.
The product is apparently raved about...so, do your due!!
 
You are mistaken Sir. The floral express get Nothing from Shadowski's company. They used to be caled Terra Nova and or First Class Floral Exporters and they are a lily grower and a Canadian flower broker delivering Canadian grown product ONLY to wholesalers and retailers in Michigan, OH, and a few other areas.

I stand corrected then.....just "sounded" vaguely like something I "heard"....thanks for the info, I was obviously incorrect.
 
Does anyone have a website for them?!?! I am curious if they deliver to Illinois.

If they have nice stuff at reasonable prices, I am all for looking!!!

How high are their quantities (5 bu or 25 bu of a given item)?
 
Info I have on The Floral Express" is 465595 Curries Rd Woodstock Ontario . phone # in above post is correct, I have www.thefloralexpress.com listed as a website, but I'm sure the rep said it wasn't up yet. His name was Gary Overbeek. The flowers arrived today, not bad, lilies will take a few days to open, gerbers were great,snaps not bad, freesia not open yet... We"ll see ...It just is the pre order time frame that I'm not sure of. We can get stuff quicker locally...pretty good stuff, prices do depend on quantity ordered though..won't be buying now, really, really, really dead, no phones ringingyet
