Many of you know that for some time I was the lone member in town. I tried to get FTD to give me the single town rate, they hemmed and hawed until they finally found another florist to sign up. I'll be speaking to them tomorrow.

That said, I guess they know what their service is worth in today's market. It seems that the BIG3 may soon be the BIG Deuce with them all fighting for the bottom of the barrel. We have heard of the FTD Coverage membership all inclusive at $29.99 a month, but have you heard about the $99.00 all inclusive membership with a $50.00 rebate if you don't get 10+ orders a month?

I thought not. Well attached below is proof. This contract came to me from a florist in another state, in a city with 7, thats right SEVEN current FTD members, most likely paying the full boat for Membership, Directory, Selection Guide, Mercury, Marketing and every other foolish TAX...

If I was one of those seven, I'd be pissed!! And you might be too. I'm sure you would be if you were in a city where you are a loyal member.....

I ask... where's their loyalty??

Remember kids... there are no rules!

I think we should all ask for this deal... Don't you?

Oh yeah, I'll sign that when the offer is made part of the printed contract.
Cause ya' know what FTD would say otherwise....both sides of the mouth.

Mark, you come up with the best stuff!!

Tried to give you a greenie for your efforts, but it wouldn't let me. So here's a GREENIE.

I was told that once I became the only shop in town I could get the small town rate for TF well guess what the rep told me I do too much volume to get that rate.
Anyone on here have small town rate? I know he's telling me a lie.

Small town rate only is for population of so much has nothing to do with how many florists in the area...

As it is suppose to be..........NOT. I have learned from past experience, I automatically would get that rate because I truly am small town, BUT they can negoitiate any bull dinkie they want. I have heard of them enticing large town members to continue membership with that small town rate also, free memberships, rebates, whatever they choose to put on the hook......that is just before you get eaten by the shark.

Oh and by the way, that is why they have those extra little blank lines on the contract so they can make the rules as they go.
