I finally sold 6 of the Waterdogs to a customer for $1.99 each. At least I got rid of some of them. Funny thing is, I just sold one of the Thomas kinkade pieces on Ebay for $88.. Hmmm, lets see, FTD $1.99, paid $7.99 for the thing.... TF sold for $88 paid $7.99 for the thing.... something tells me that FTD needs to take a closer look at their keepsakes. Not that this is news to anyone.

Remember TF's jeweled vase from last year

I had eight left last year and thought I'd never get rid of them. They are actually very nice, but also very small with flowers and the value just does not appear there at least in a town like mine. So I had one sitting on the counter empty, right. A friend of ours who is also a very good customer came in for his annual Christmas arr. for his mother and saw it. He was admiring it A LOT and asked how much it was. I showed him last year's picture and he saw the price of $69.99. He put it down really fast, but I said, FOR YOU $10.00 empty. He bought one. Called back and wanted five more. Called back later and wanted the last two. So $80.00 is not bad for something we would have most likely packed away for another year. And we also made a good customer very happy. Oh yea, he also bought flowers for his mother, not just the jeweled vase.

Hey Jim, $88.00 on ebay - congrats! Very smart!
My husband sells lots of things on ebay, got more for his musical equipment, motorcycle helmets, and stuff than he could have gotten anywhere else and fast. Sometimes more than he paid.

Ebay - gotta love it! I bet we all wish we'd thought of it first.

For all intents and purposes, Jim...

has related a very evident experience with the "percieved" value of wire service containers!!
What's MORE interesting, is that, a purchaser would spend THAT MUCH, on a recent TF container, when it would have been MUCH CHEAPER, to step into Jim's shop, and buy the WHOLE THING, fully adorned for much less!!
Kind of a floral oxy"moron"......

Yep, he has....

Just like me selling the FTD M&M Sleigh on Ebay for 62.00...

Ebay..."Someone for everything"... I did $1000.00 in sales on Ebay this month so far, and listing more this week.

BOSS man send me an email with those pictures of your Blenko and since I have all the reference books I can tell you what the book value is before you list.
Or ifin you have something I might be interested in...we'll barter??
