Carter Allen Nix has arrived much to the excitement of his Grandmother MaryLou and his Aunt Renee....A whopping 8pds 7 oz and 21 inches tall...get him a ten gallon hat already...wow...Mom and Dad are fine...the Grandma and Aunt are tired! It is very hard work being in the cheering section! Congratulations to the Nix family!

Awesome - always glad to hear of safe and much anticipated births.
Hope mama and baby are resting in clouds of love and attention!

Babies are SOOO fun. Congrats to all!

Thanks...We had a long, long labor. (41 hours)

As some of you know, I have been ill for the last 3 weeks. I was so exhausted, I was ready to throw in the towel about 10AM Sunday morning.

For the ladies who have children, this was natural child birth...NO MEDS!!!

They had decided to check Cristy one more time at 5:00, then make the C-section choice. Carter was sunnyside up and wouldn't stay engaged in the birth canal. When he finally stay engaged, it only took 30 minutes to deliver.

Here's a picture of my oldest grandchild holding my youngest grandchild...
(I now have two girls and one boy)
