Huh? Will The Florists Who Work At The Rose Garden Please Stand Up?

Tracy,

Lemme get this straight...you don't talk about FlowerChat enough at your shop to know that one of your team has joined? Wuz up here?

Hey, Perry! Welcome to FC...I remember some good times with you in Cherry Hill! Sssssssh!

Hi Diane long time Huh! Dont plan on getting out of the business I only lasted two years, then it called me back. Working for Tracy is very enjoyable nice people ,nice shop, close to home in barnegat. Just not a lot of time to be on the computer between working cooking honey do list, and family keeps me pretty active. No luck on selling yet? I heard you had a buyer but the deal fell off the table.

Perry,

LOL! Of course you have to say that working for Tracy is divine, but you can always PM me and tell me the real story! HA! Geez! Everyone who gets out of the biz seems to always come back! What the??? Yup...it's true...the deal fell through! I will be putting the shop back on the market after Christmas, and we will see what happens. If the shop sells, I am planning to do a stint with the Peace Corp. They are really looking for classics like me in their early 50's who have owned their own business for more than 10 years. Do ya think they will have me run a flower shop and teach floristry in another country? That would be a blast! Que sera! Sera!

It's great to see you posting at FC! Glad to hear you are enjoying life in Barnegat and keeping busy! Keep in touch and stay cool!

barnegat seems to be a melting point for people in the floral industry, i was in a shop the other day and saw Mark Scherzer's merchandise from his store for sale on consignment.
