Had a funeral for a 46 year old man this week and the family is mostly acquaintances of mine and customers of mine. One of his best friend's wife worked for me for over 5 years and I knew he was a very avid fisherman and hunter. His aunt wanted an "outdoorsy, manish" styled design. She left it in my hands for 3 designs for herself, her daughters, and her sister.
We had access to birch branches, kangaroo paw, delph, sunflowers, purple matsu, monte casino, to name a few. The vegetative style was implemented and as a touch, one design held a birch bark canoe about 14" long with a black bear dressed in fishing garb (hat, vest, & waders) holding a fishing pole with a fish on the hook. Now this guy was the "biggest stuffed teddy bear" as he was called by his aunt. Other designs again done vegatative or parallel grouped, contained wooden fish (about 18" long) or variations of the bear in the canoe.
The aunt came in today with a box of chocolates stating " what do you get for someone who took the words out of my heart and made them in flowers"
That was the best compliment I have had in 28 years along with the hugs from her when I went to the visiting. Had to share, it surely made my day after the week from hell.

Don't you love to create from the heart. It is almost like the person behond is speeking to you . I had a family about 3 years ago around chrsitmas time to do a memorial her hir wife and mom. SHe dies of cancer and they where doing a simple memorial at the hospital chapel. Well it turn out to be quite interesting. To make a long story short, it seems I created something their mom would have been happy to enjoy. They came back a few weeks later to get the arr I done in fresh done in artificial which I was happy to do. But about a month later, the husband died also and hey where again asking me to create something which I did to satisfaction. Sometime I only wish that families lets us create something then them doing it. It's a hard sell sometime.
Good work Rhonda....

Ryan??

At the bottom of your Reply screen is a section called Attach file:

Click on Browse, and find the image on your computer.

That should be all :)

hmm tried that but it only gave me Internet Explorer...and I would have to submit reply first and then "edit" to get the attach file thingy......will try again........Glad I'm finally a member sheesh!
:D
Am now in "edit screen"
nope, no "attach file" thingy anywhere. If I go to IMG at the top of my "edit screen" it only goes to IE and won't let me go to my pictures to get the darned thing.
nope, won't work :(

Pay my ticket and I will come to you Rhonda and help you.
A easier way is to e-mail the pics to Ryan and He can attach it for you, but it is better for you to try when you need it later.
