Those with TF (or ws) sites and only listing 800#

I've noticed when looking at new applicants websites, if they are TF, they only show an 800 or 888 or 877 number on their pages. Some don't even list their local phone number in the "about us" pages.
If someone local was looking at your site and wanted to call you, Why? why should you pay for that incoming toll call because it's the only number on your website?
When I look, I expect to see local numbers, addresses as well as toll free numbers and they should be on the front page....

Great point! I have to admit, my stomach lurched a bit because I couldn't say for positive sure that our local number was listed. I'm relieved to report that it was. Isn't it amazing how the little things can slip through the cracks? Thanks for making us think (and log onto our own sites to check).
