Having seen the news coverage and just finished reading THIS ARTICLE I just want to pass along my prayers to those in Australia affected by the floods that are continuing to worsen even after a couple months... it does not look good for our members there right now, and there seems to be no end in sight.

The weather is wacky all around the globe right now... it sure will be interesting to see what summer brings...

May you all be safe, may your homes and businesses be unaffected....

to be honest, I was shocked, literally overwhelmed, when officials in Brisbane warned it's 2 MILLION residents to flee to higher ground....an inland SEA has developed on otherwise arid land, and the continent seems to be in the clutches of major, or near catastrophic climactic backlash, that's NEVER been seen before!
I am so very worried for my friends, and ALL the people of the area!!
Thanks Mark.....

One of my closed friends lives near Todds shop in Baldivis so fortunately they at the other side of Australia but I just hope these extreme weather doesn't travel to the other side of the country. Sending Prayers.

Hi Guys

I for one am safe - although there was some flooding in my state last week it was 'up north' in a relatively sparsely populated area. The big tragedy now is in Queensland - the other side of the country. This is where a former FC member - Karla (Geebung Florist) lives. I have sent Karla a message on Facebook but as the power has been cut I don't expect to hear from her for a few days. If any of you are waiting to hear from people in Queensland it may take until Monday for power to be restored. My wife and I do have people in QLD but they seem to be safe.

It's a real shocker - to say the least. I have been hearing some very tragic stories. Queensland is in a tropical region so nasty weather is par for the course, however they haven't seen anything like this since 1974. The only saving grace is that we don't have the population density of somewhere like the USA, other wise I am sure the death toll would be in the thousands. Ironicaly most of the country is experiencing the longest running drought in our short history.

I appreciate your concern.
