I'm a little confused though.....
it was announced that last night's opening game attracted the LARGEST OPENING DAY CROWD, in history, since records were started.
Seems to me that I remember the first game of the season in '86, and I'm pretty sure we had some 28,000 fans for THAT one.
Don't get me wrong, almost 26,000 butts in that stadium nearly brought tears to my eyes, BUT, it was the "buzz" that unnerved me...it's been a lonnngg time since the place was actaully "vibrating" with excited fans...even the players got into it!
Joey Montford resurrected his double arm salute again, and after the D line's performance, they ALL deserved accolades!
My biggest WOW, came from watching the O line giving Danny Mac all kinds of time to scan downfield, and my biggest disappointment was in the lead blocking for Troy Davis.
I HAVE to tell you...the food at the stadium is now fantastic...I've been at many staudiums around North America, and these concessions have just overdone themselves....a pretty amazing turnaround from years gone by!
