First game of the season and already tied last years number of wins . Big year upcoming for the Tabbies , Grey Cup , maybe not , playoff berth, who knows , but at least they won't be as bad as last years 1-17. Hey Mikey you still got those seasons tickets?

You leave my Tabbies alone.....

I have several Ticats as customers, and more on the way.
I have invites to be in both press boxes, as well as two local radio station private boxes, and sat right behind Bob Young (new owner) for the home exibition game.
I have also retained my box seats in Box I, as a member of the notorious Box I Guys, and am a founding member of the Grey Cup Cupaholics organization.
Yes, "THE CATS" are back...hopefully the fans will come to appreciate how much work has gone into rebuilding this "new" old club....the OLDEST continually operating professional team in North America.
OSKI WEE WEE.....
Mike (aka Kubie)

Not dumping on them Mikey, I am a huge Tabby fan, just commenting on the turn around . My Father lived in Toronto for 20 years , late 40-late 60's , was always a Ti-cat nut, he supplied footware for many Argo's and Ti-cats , a lot of special orders like big Angie's size 15's. Even when the guy next door D'Angelo made the Argos in the early 60's and would give him free tickets , he still spent ,many a Saturday or Sunday in steel town. I have carried on cheering for the Cats.

ah...those were the days...

your dad making much of the shoeware for the TICATS AND ARGOS, and "Pops" Kenesky making virtually ALL of the goalie equipment for probably EVERY GOALIE in the NHL, at the time!!
Brings back some real fond memories!!
We'll be in our seats in Box I for tonight's opener...I hope the stadium is crammed!!...our team is possibly 2 years from the Grey Cup...
Mike

Mac attack!!

Mikey , what a game you got to see live, Danny Mac is back , 500 plus yards , Ozzie honored at half time for his 18 years in black & gold, what a night. Oh , 2 and 0 and counting. Bombers aren't looking like the team that just missed winning the cup , but then the Cats and Renegades ain't the same patsies from last year.

Sandie was just telling me the other day, when I am in Dundas in july, Mikey willbe bringing me to a live game Sat. afternoon.
It willbe my first LIVE Foot ball game in my whole life.
Another experience I will treasure with Mikey.
Luc
P.S. Can't wait to eat hot dogs also and bare my chess.....

I don't know Luke , they have rules on content for TV , bare chests, can here the complaints at the CRTC on the following Monday.

I'm a little confused though.....

it was announced that last night's opening game attracted the LARGEST OPENING DAY CROWD, in history, since records were started.
Seems to me that I remember the first game of the season in '86, and I'm pretty sure we had some 28,000 fans for THAT one.
Don't get me wrong, almost 26,000 butts in that stadium nearly brought tears to my eyes, BUT, it was the "buzz" that unnerved me...it's been a lonnngg time since the place was actaully "vibrating" with excited fans...even the players got into it!
Joey Montford resurrected his double arm salute again, and after the D line's performance, they ALL deserved accolades!
My biggest WOW, came from watching the O line giving Danny Mac all kinds of time to scan downfield, and my biggest disappointment was in the lead blocking for Troy Davis.
I HAVE to tell you...the food at the stadium is now fantastic...I've been at many staudiums around North America, and these concessions have just overdone themselves....a pretty amazing turnaround from years gone by!

Oski wee wee.

3 in a row and counting

Wow 3 in a row and counting , what a turn around , as much as I loved Ronnie Lancaster , maybe his getting fired was what was needed to turn it around.

Hey Luke , did you jinx it or what? Didn't get to see any on the tube , but saw highlights this morning , ugh. And Luke if you did show off some of your body parts , they didn't make the highlight reel.

Yes I was there and I JINX the tie cats.... Mikey told me that I am no Longer welcome there when they are in a winning streak.

Mikey did not say that and it was a very nice experience and I thank Mikey and Sandie for letting me go, since I had her ticket. WE were almost touching the cheerleaders from where we sat, and the whole experience will not be forgetful.
On of the best part is eating what we wanted when our spouse are not there.
Luc
P.S>. Now if I can get to a hockey game that would be awsome also.

NO...now tell the truth Luc....

I SAID", you are NOT allowed back here during a Tiger Cat winning streak, UNLESS you take of ALL your clothes, and "perform" your winning "streak".
I HAVE to tell you that 1) we LOVED having you, Debbie, and Betty stay with us, 2)I LOVED having a dearest friend come and drink and eat hot dogs at a ball game, and 3) your invitations are OPEN...any time, and your rooms are ready!!
By the way, Costco "found" your lost photos, and I'm gonna post them up to you...
We're happy that you'all got home safe and sound, and we're sad you had to leave....I had my hands on a real good friend and floral designer!!
Mike...alright, alright...Sandie too!!

Oh well, going to try harder to watch, seems when I watch they win , when I can't find the time they lose, and boy did they lose big last night.

You didn't "watch" again DID YOU!!????...

lottsa fans...good food, lottsabeer, Danny Mac was way off target last night...Troy had a good rushing game, and Archie was the only reliable "target".
It was actually a pretty good game....not in our favour.
Mike (aka Kubie)

Sorry Mikey, I didn't watch , was too busy , didn't get off til 8:30 , had to get groceries , had supper at 10:30 , didn't even flick on the tube at all . Normally watch at least Friday nights , and to top it off daughters boy friend and 2 other guys were coming home from a boat tour and got attacked by group of punks , he has his ankle broken , and ligaments torn , surgery due tommorrow , one of the other guys cut in face with broken beer bottle and the last guy has a concussion from a bottle. Not safe to walk the streets at night anymore. We really need to cull the herd.

Luc , you must have really jinxed it, 5 straight losses. Can't be me , I watched the first half , really ugly , 2 and out , or turn it over , can't expect to win if you can't keep your offence in sync, and the Cat's offence just ain't doing it , the wheels have come off the wagon , but I will keep the faith , only 3-5 with 10 games left . Come on Tabbies eat em raw!!

yes....

it did hurt to watch.....Coach Marshall seems to know what he's doing, and with all the changes, this year will likely be a wash....
Mike

They had such a great start to the season and promise of more to come , too early to write off the season yet, Mikey , keep the flicker of them reaching the playoffs, only 1 game out.

Yes, since I was there, I also kept a watch over them and they are loosing so bad..Maybe I should stop watching and they have a chance on winning again....
Luc
