Without much hope I'm afraid , looking like a high school team last night , got trounced at home, looked really bad on offence, but on the bright side can only get better from here , cause they can't look any worse than they did last night.
 
If you're a green rider fan, then you did have to wait a long time for you ultimate prize , if you're a Ottawa fan then you'll have to wait a long ,long time , maybe for ever.
 
what a great evening of football last night!!
My Tabbies finally put on a performance that indicated they REALLY wanted to win, AND DID....Jessie Lumsden was a bulldozer!!
Damon Allen, younger bro of football great Marcus Allen, was honoured in Toronto, and retired as the ALL TIME PRO passing leader in ANY league on this planet..he and his wife, are some of the nicest people I know!!
AND, last night's western game, between Calgary, and Edmonton, produced one of the ALL TIME SPECTACULAR end zone touchdown receptions that I've EVER seen....a DEFINITE entry into the hall of fame for Edmonton's Jason Tucker.
 
was out , turned on the set to watch the remainder , just starting the 4th quarter , had to check to score a couple of times to be sure that the tabbies were ahead by 12 points . Lumsden was the best clock killing machine , 200 + yards and 2 tds, what a perforance. Maybe I was hasty in writing off the whole season after the 1st game. But even if they only win this one game they did go into Toronto and kick the crap out of the preseason favourite from the east.
 
yep so sad , but at least they aren't in last place.
