I hate clutter in design spaces so I'm always looking for ways to organize design tools, and all the other stuff that comes along with being in a shop.

One day I was browsing through Ikea and saw these magnetic strips in the kitchen section.

They mount onto the wall with two screws, it only take a couple minutes.

I have 1 in the front design space, and 2 smaller versions in the back.

I have one of those on my bench and like it but just hate how it magnatizes my tools, they pick up every thing...ribbon wire, etc. After use, I'm always cleaning blades off of debris.

That is a fab idea and i will be getting one next time i go to ikea. Thanks for sharing!! It looks like a pretty dangerous collection of tools when you put them all together doesnt it? I think i will display mine behind me to warn off the robbers!!

have one by my desk for all the todojobs. :)

there is a great web site to check out how people have used IKEA product for different purposes here;
