Did my first designs with wheat and cattails today... kind of a nice change from "bright summer"...

The first 50 bunches on Bittersweet arrive tomorrow....

Looking outside, the clouds have changed, they look more like snow clouds than summer rain clouds...

and yes, I did do my first fall arr on Tuesday. First day of school = fall. :)

Wow, I LOVE fall. School is back in, people's gardens are shriveled and yucky, people buy flowers from me. Yay!

I always push fall, I've been using grasses and green wheat and millet for several weeks, calling it "late summer, early fall".
 
Me too did my first fall arr today. LOVED IT - my favorite season and HALLOWWWEEEN TOO!

We don't do fall unitl the shorts and flip flops have been retired..............Nov or so. Then we unpack our "long" pants or them "skorts" (girls wear-um)................................
 
no snow on the mountain yet.....hikers still coming up the AT...... won't be long...

In College, we had a prof. that wore shorts well into november. We started a pool and each of us bet a twoonie ($2 for my American friends) and wrote our name on a date on a calender for which day he would cave and wear pants. Four people split a pot of over $500. Made for a couple months of good fun :)
