To Be or not To Be...

William Shakespeare coined this phrase some centuries ago, but he wasn't the first.

The English language is very diverse and sophisticated... thus the difficulties for foreigners to learn this complex language of so many words and their meanings.

So, if we take a word like "be" (in this example), it brings forth many associated meanings and like terminology.

Associations with "be" include other words such as:
is
was
are
were
am
and many others... you get the point.

And here's my point...

When Moses asked God "Who shall I say sent me?" God responded, "Tell them I AM sent you".

Note: He did not say, "Tell them I Will Be sent you" nor "I Was sent you". He said "I Am".

For those of us who believe, these are very comforting words and thus the words of William Shakespeare seem futile at best.

I Am is still alive and willing to give second, third, and perhaps more chances.

Don't give up. There are people who care. I hope that if nothing else, I am able to lead a confused or hurtful soul to the land of comfort.

Always listening and always here (for now).

Thanks for reading...

I like to be or not to be

To be or not to be that is the question
wether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or to take up arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them
to die to sleep, no more
and by a sleep to say we end the heartache and thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to... (3.1) Hamlet

I started memorizing this after Mother's Day. This is as far as I got.

I would suggest what you've accomplished is quite worthy.

It is probably farther in memory than I could go. Not to say I'm an old goat by any means, but I try to memorize only the things that are pertinent to the moment.

Like... where are my false teeth? Is my underwear forward or backward... things like that.
