Thank you for your kind words.
Fortunately, I am not aware that anyone I know has been directly affected although sometimes it takes a while to find out these things. Still very distressing watching events unfold and sort of brings it home that these people can strike anywhere at any time. I'm amazed that the casualties where not much higher given the locations and the timing although the loss of one life is too many. It appears that the city coped very well under the circumstances. I guess it is something that we'll all have to learn to live with, the alternative being so far removed from the way of life we have today.

Our prayers are going out for all affected. How tragic that something like this came right on the heels of the announcement that London will be hosting the 2012 Olympic Games! Do you think the terrorists were responding to that announcement?
