Just trying to plan my visit, wondering if there is any interest in a get together dinner that week. Also, is there anything going on in Toronto the previous weekend? Last year there was a Floral Expo the Saturday prior?

Debbie and I plan to arrive Sat night.
In the past I had planned a diner on Monday night at a restaurant nearby for anyone who wanted to attend.

How long do you plan to be there>?

Anybody else would be interested on Meeting for dinner either Sunday or Monday or even both?

Please do tell now, maybe we can plan something and we can pass information along about booths we visited that would be beneficial to others.

I think my options are open at this point. The shop owner will pick the day she wants to go, but I plan on spending some extra time there as there is a speaker I want to hear on Sunday...so maybe Sunday night? I will get back to you with the details for sure.
 
If I remember correctly and maybe Mikey will confirm this.....
Is'nt there a BBQ suppose to be happning at the Ryan Freeman residence?

I need to know in advance so I do not eat that day!

I'll be going at some point, but don't know yet exactly when.

I might be able to do dinner, but again I'm not sure (some staff will be on holidays), but I'll keep an eye on this thread and let you know closer to the date.

It would be nice to meet some flowerchatters.
 
I am in the same boat Gracie, I would like to go on Monday, but plans are not firm yet. I will re post when my dates are firm and then we can pick a place to meet for dinner......sound ok????
 
Ok folks, Sunday and or Monday are my dates.....there is a speaker there that I would like to hear on Sunday, but if the flowerchat dinner is Monday, then thats the day I will go! Let me know!
 
Nothing stops us to have a diner plan for Sunday or Monday.
A good place to go to is Marketplace. It has a variety of foods for everyone, good food, good deserts etc. It is located on the Airport strip.

So I am willing to arrange this diner for Monday at 6:30 p.m.
I think the shows closes at 6 p.m.
So Can I have a tentative amount of people who are willing to meet.

I am also willing to arrange a diner for Sunday night at a Mandarin Restaurant.
I think the closest is on Hwy 27 north. Also not far from Airport, unless someone else know of a easier place to go to.
Any takers?

I will be able to sign autographs on both nights afte you meet me.

Love the Mandarin......Sunday night dinner works for me, but if everyone is coming Monday, I can do Monday. Perhaps we should make a poll????

George Whalin is speaking on Sunday, thought I would like to hear him. But if mean missing dinner with Luc, I will come on Monday!!

I'm planning on getting to TO on Sunday with a visit to the show on Monday. Thought I'd treat myself to a night away from one city. Need to find a reasonable place to hang my hat for the night.

I'd love to get together with you.

Hey V, although they are a few minutes by car, I find the Monte Carlo Inns to be the best bang for your buck, always under 100.00. There is one just up airport road! Ok, In will plan on Sunday night dinner as well, can we go to the Mandarin Luc???
 
I'll be interested to hear a report back, after the show...

Word here, is that Chicago was a ghost town for the most part, and Dallas market was not much better....(both were in July)
