Mikey and surrouding florist did a special act last week when they supplied 8 casket saddle for 8 lives perished in a fire.

I like to touch someone heart at Christmas without people finding out who did it. SOmetime we can get discovered but I make it that it is no big deal.

Maybe it comes from my past and up brigging. We had some pretty rough Christmas at my house.

I am asking you to do something special this Christmas and ty to keep it with yourself.

I f you wish to share it with us after and share with us the reaction on what you did please do. We always like a good story.

THis year I am planning to give out 85 4 1/2" poinsettia to every room at 2 old age homes. THe third home, which doesnt allow poinsettia, I am not sure what I will do. I f you have any suggestion please let me know.

I am also have a thought for next year and will be working with one of my supplier for this to happen next year.

SO go ahead, have fun with this....reap the benifits of knowing you may have change someone life for a day.

:) So many reasons to admire you Luc.

Little kindnesses each day make a difference in lives... ours and those affected. That's how I try to live my life... no matter how difficult sometimes.

After my accident last week, the care given by those around the scene was appreciated more than I can say. Anonymous faces with care and kindness helped me through the trauma of the moment... so each day, a kindness comes from me.

My children now grown are the only grandchildren in the family. Their first Christmas was appaling in excess... everyone wanted to get them stuff- I have never seen so much stuff it was way over the top... Since then we ahve always adopted a family with children close to our childrens ages (secret pals sort of). My boys" shop" for the kids, tree, dinner and gifts . We have been able to stem the generosity of my extended family by asking them to limit their spending on my boys and contribulting to our "Christmas Family". Our kids have grown to understand the meaning of sharing and have come up with some pretty neat ideas for the project(as they got older) including one year the patients at the Psych center I was working at and another year a homeless shelter. Some years when our funds were low it has been a challenge but it gets done every year. This year will be my first without kids at home- Brian is in the Navy and David is meeting his love in California. Have to come up with something terriffic after these inspiring stories!

Is it just poinsettias they disallow or plants in general? You could send them small artificial arrangements if so but if other plants are an option, what about violet or kalanchoe baskets? You can get bright red kalanchoes that would be festive.

If you could find inexpensive cups at the dollar store, you could make what I call "Tea of Two" mugs - a mug with some tea/or coffee, wafer cookies/or shortbread and butterscotch. They're inexpensive to make, I tend to sell a lot here as Kris Kringle/Office gifts.

Hope that helps,
Audra
